I agree with you , it is not to bad , and it looks great on paper , its only when you look at it beyond names on paper that you see 2 of them were faded big names and the other two , one of them nearly knocked him out and Carlos is a hard head with not much else ... but by the same token Ricky is unbeaten and all credit to him , he is a great little fighter , just not as great as Floyd .

Well, you can do the same thing with a lot of wins in Floyd's record, like Gatti, Baldomir, Judah, even De La Hoya. No question Floyd is GREATER then Ricky, if they both retired today, Floyd will be more remembered. And, obviously he is the favorite in this fight, but people that give Hatton 0 chance to win aren't being realistic. I mean hey, Douglas was a 42-1 underdog, $%&# happens.

it's not that hatton can't box. it's the fact that he is far mroe effective at pressuring someone. i mean with his reach the jab is hard. luckily hatton has a spring and moves abit. he holds and punches a lot punch atleast it isn't holding holding if you know what i mean.

i htink the guy was saying that because hatton is fighting people taller than him and msot liekly with a longer reach, he will have trouble from fighting on the outside. whereas by fighting on the inside his short arms are clsoe enoguh to hit and fast enough. perhaps short arms are good for clsoe up imo.

Hatton haters should watch the first 6 rounds or so of Hatton/Urango (undefeated world champ at the time who gave Cotto hell in the amatuers), not too shabby a boxer really.

Straight after you watch that fight , watch Ben Rabah box circles around Urango to get robbed so Urango can fight Hatton , also watch the 6th round when one body shot shuts Hatton down and he gets on his bike .

What happened in Cottos amateur days has no bearing on Cotto today , same as Floyd 5 years ago is not the Floyd of today ,,, Im looking at Floyds last 3 wins and Hattons recent form ... if Floyd produces any of his most recent performances he will box Rickys ears off ,,, and I dont hate Hatton , I think he is a great guy and a top class fighter , you wont find one post from me where I insult Ricky Hatton or any fighter on a personal level , thats the trademark of a hater , they insult on personal levels .
