If you could know what really happened...

In all of boxing, if you could really know the truth on something, what would it be?
    Mine would be
    1. Did Sonny Liston really tank it in Lewiston?
    2. What really happened in Duran vs Leonard 2?
    3. Was Sonny Liston murdered?

This is nice and simple, but complex all at the same time.

Which refs were paid off in certain fights that were robberies?

It looks to me like Ali catches Liston with a short punch that catches him off balance and knocks him down, then Ali hovers over him and circles him, while Liston looks up at him, waiting for him to go to a neutral corner so he doesn't hit him while he's trying to get up. The next thing you know the fight is over.

That is a new twist that I have not heard before, that he was looking up at Ali waiting for him to go to the neutral corner. I can buy that. But didn't he still not beat the count after Ali did move away? And Liston's chin was harder than Ali's punch, right? Remember how hard Cleveland Williams hit and Liston took those shots.
But thanks for the opinion. It is something else to consider.

I would say a young Cleveland Williams hit harder than Ali, absolutely. Watch it again, Liston starts to get up, then Ali rushes at him, so he lays back down, Ali never does go to a neutral corner, but when he moves far enough away, Liston gets up and the ref (Walcott) is about to let them keep fighting, when the timekeeper lets the ref know that Liston had been down 10 sec.

I would want to know if Charles Burley really sparked out Robinson twice when he was a gym sweeper.
