Stilll Floyd's bread and butter is his defense and has always been. Whatever few shots he has taken so far, he hasn't been hurt. I say he has a decent chin but I wouldn't push it.

To suggest that he wouldn't have to be as defensive against Williams as he was against Baldomir is pure nonsense.

A 6'2 man at 147 can hurt anybody if they don't protect themselfs. But like I said.....Floyd has too good defense to ever let that happen.

floyds bread and butter has always been his counter punching it may look like he is standing there being defensive but most of the time he's waitng for the oppenent so that he can counter their shots and williams throws alot of shots to get countered

No kidding, and Williams against better overall competition 24 KOs in 33 fights. I agree that Paul would give Floyd problems. It appears that the shoulder roll is not very effective against a southpaw. I don't see Paul knocking him out since the few times Floyd has been hurt, he is great enough defensively to avoid punishment until the stars go away and then come back punching. I think Paul's freakish reach (even for his height), work output and endurance would in the end just be too much for Floyd. Hard to counter a guy with arms about 5 in longer (10 in total reach advantage.) I did notice Williams KOd Sharmba Mitchell in 2 less rounds than Floyd, but since I don't see a KO either way in this fight its probably not that relavent. Paul by UD.

Did you read the orignal post of this thread? I have said that Floyd is the more skilled fighter. Paul is NOT perfect. It doesn't matter though.

Not easy counter punching a 6'2 guy with much bigger reach then you who throws 1000 punches during a fight. Naah mean????

I Agree, Paul has the best chance of beating flyod if he stays at 147, Cotto has the second best chance. Lets hope both these fights happen, I'd love to hear what mayweather would say if he lost.
