The bottom line on this Klit guy is this...

His claim to fame is a LOSS...to a fat,out of shape Lennox Lewis.
What does a victory over a tomato can named Danny Williams prove?

Yet his legend grows...mainly in the mouth of Wlad Owes.

He was pretty good. He had good power and a killer instinct. Too bad injuries have destroyed his career. It would have been interesting to see how his career would have played out.

Vitali of all peoploe knows that he left the sport on a bad note, because people will always be thinking of him as a what could have been. This is why hes trying to make a comeback, I think anyother person would stop and realize that his body wont hold up and just leave the sport for good, but Vitali keeps trying, that means that he knows he didint accomplish what he wanted too

I made this appreciation thread for Vitali because your husband Thread Stealer is making Vitali hate threads every day trying to give him a bad name. Vitali Klitschko is a Great fighter and he deserves more respect on this forum.
He was a good fighter, no more or less. he flunked out of the two biggest fights of his life. One against a little guy with no power and the other against an old man with nothing to fight for.

Could of been a great but quite clearly wasn't.

Very well said. Im a big Klitschko fan but to this day I dont understand why he pulled out of the Byrd fight while he was way ahead on the scorecards with 2 or 3 rounds to go. His fight against Lewis was very unfortuante for him but it was a complete show of courage. Like Lampley said at the end of the fight Lewis won the fight but Klitschko won the event

that is not quite accurate brother blues.

brittley is also known for his wins over the legendary, well-conditioned, young, active and focused professional fighter corrie sanders, and his win over the even more well-conditioned kirk johnson who had fought so well in his previous big fight on hbo, for the wba belt against john ruiz.

and of course, brittley's performance against chris byrd, whom his little brother beat twice. who won that fight by the way, between byrd and vitali? i know vitali was doing well after 8 rounds, but who ended up with his arm raised in victory?

Doesn't this thread belong in the history section, when was the last time Vitali fought? 1984?
