That's just total crap. Have a look how many posters have Mexican fighters in their sigs, including myself. Plain & simple Margarito is just over rated. Who has the guy beat?

Compare his resume to the likes of Morales, Barrera, Vazquez etc and tell he Margarito is the real deal. He got out worked against williams and didn't take chances.

I think also why a lot of people don't like the guy is the way he carried on after the Williams fight, which he clearly lost.

It's like Kessler turning around after the JC fight and saying I think I won that one, but no he had too much class for that.

I don't mind guys who jump and down after being robbed, but the wasn't.

I AM TIRED OF PEOPLE DEGRADING MARGARITO JUST BECAUSE OF HIS 4 LOSSES OTHER THAN WILLIAMS

marg turned pro at an early age without much amatuer experience and here is how i answer it

3 of those 4 losses was an inexperienced margarito at the age of 17

so does 35-2 sound a lil better?
and also daniel santos was it super welter so that has a lil to do with it

plz dont hate on someone without really looking into why his record is that way.

Margarito did what was expected, a knockout. It was against a former fringe 135 lb contender, Of course, margarito will dominate. He is good though, he is slow with the lateral movements but he does possess the heart and will to take one to land one, two or three punches. He will give anyone in the 147 division trouble, but he can be outboxed so he ain't complete.

I don't think the haters know any other way to put down this man than by noting losses from 10 years ago when he was just a kid.

How much times have u said this today,u Margaritos wife? Stop cryin

I agree with alot of people in here,Margarito is a top welterweight, but his fans on here make u dislike him sometimes, they go on like hes the terminater,Paul Williams beat him,so how can they possibly say if Margarito wasnt ducked by the top fighters he'd be ranked in the top 5? He almost lost to Clottey!
