He has a terrific chin. Only Judah has knocked him down ironically when Floyd was off balance like Judah usually is.

I know he'll opt to outbox all of them, but was just wandering if his chin was that good that if he wanted he could stand and trade with Cotto,Hatton and Mosley and not be troubled.

He slips, moves away and rolls with punches which will take a lot of the sting out of them which would help you to take a good punch because you're not taking the full force of it. But can he stand there and take them in your opinion or isn't his chin that great, good but not great.

Who's hit him to the body hard and often is there a fight that would show this.

Hmmm.... Floyd and Oscar BOTH started out their career at super featherweight, so how is Oscar MUCH stronger?

It must have something to do with Oscar weighing at 130 for 30 seconds two days before the fight at age 21, while Mayweather made 130 for half of his professional career.

Or the fact that Mayweather neer went above 150 on fight night, and Oscar has been coming in at around 160 for many years now.

Or could it be the fact that Oscar never looked like the smaller man at 147, while Mayweather consistently is the smaller man?

              BOTTOM LINE:
Oscar is a natural welterweight, Floyd is a natural lightweight, that's how.

To the original topic, his chin is probably very good... for a lightweight, we'll see at welterweight. (or maybe we will not see, cos he will not get caught)

With the insane conditioning he goes through, I would think he could be literally hammered to the body and still fight 12 rounds. This we will most likely be able to see when he fights Hatton.

Just like people are claiming Floyd is the smaller man against Hatton right?
