Somebody school me on Alex Arthur...

I recently told by a member on another board (a very respectable member) that he currently believes Alex Arthur could defeat any SuperFeatherweight in the world. He simply called it a wild hunch...problem is he never explains nothing he posts, but he's terribly accurate with predictions (almost 20 in a row now)

It took me a minute to realize he meant the same weight class as Pac, Marquez, Soto, Valero and Guzman

I can't find anything on this guy though, I want you guys' opinions, is Alex Arthur the sleeper in the division? Is he really that good?

lmfao he got beaten down by Michael Gomez he has no defence has a questionable chin IMO ,i know he was calling Guzman out a while back but trust me Guzman would wipe the floor with him

he is a good fighter he can punch a bit but he has a weak defence & a glass Jaw, Pacquiao would eat him for breakfast

Guzman's overrated man, he'd still beat Arthur though. He's too meek to hold his own with the top dogs at 130lb.

Got him in my sig so I should really say a few words. I personally don't know about him beating any of those names you mentioned, not at the moment anyway. He needs to improve his defense if he wants to become a serious force. He does have power and bucket loads of heart, and that is why i'm a big fan. He was beaten by Gomez but in that fight he used completly the wrong tactics when he should have won comfortably. I am a huge Alex Arthur fan but also realist and don't see him beating any of the big names. I just hope he can be a world champion one day.

I think he is class, good power and like the poster above me said 'stacks of heart' , his division is ridiculously stacked. He wouldn't beat Marquez or Guzman, but what about Pacman? hmmm, probably not but something tells me I think he'd have a chance against him. Though to beat Pac you need a chin and a half, I don't think he has that unfortunately.

He puts in a labored performance against Barrios and beats an old Antonio Davis and he's supposed to be the guy to beat Pacquiao and Marquez? I find that hilariously funny.

Taylor's fought the elite, something Guzman only dreams of.
