Cotto sets rules for a Margarito fight.

    http://www.elnuevodia.com/diario/not..._reglas/314513

In a interview with El Nuevo Dia today, in a mall in Puerto Rico, Miguel Cotto, WBA Welterweight Champion, set the conditions for a possible Margarito fight.

"We've never said no the company (Top Rank) and I dont think we'll ever get to the point to tell Arum no about a rival. " said Cotto.

After his victory over Shane Mosley, Cotto heard Margarito challenging him toa fight. At that moment Cotto refused to fight him because Margarito let the opportunity to fight him months ago go.

According to Cotto and his workteam, a Margarito fight is just not lucrative enough at this stage in his career. He believes he needs to go for the bigger fighters, like Hatton, PBF or Oscar. Margarito, like Cotto, is in Top Rank, and Top Rank is inclined to make that fight happen should neither Hatton, PBF or ODLH dont wish to fight Cotto.

But today, Cotto said that if he gets paid enough money, like if he were fighting a bigger opponent, he'll take a Margarito fight.

"There has to be some guarantees that i'll get paid for fighting lesser opponents, both economically and boxistically, for me to fight Antonio." said Cotto."

"It is of our understanding that for us to take a Margarito fight, there must be some very favorable conditions, on our side, in order to make it happen. We can't just point blank say no, but in order for it to happen, we better get some guarantess" said Evangelista Cotto.

The biggers fighters are Williams, Cintṛn, Margarito.

Hatton is a natural superlightweight, give me a break! De la Hoya is a old man and Floyd is another level.

sounds fair to me. Margo missed his opportunity. If he was willing to shell out 8 mill for Mayweather, i dont see why he wouldnt drop atleast 5 for miguel.

Who's sexier girl in my avi or the girl in Mochiteco's?

Marg had his chance and he has to wait in line. With no belt as leverage he has to take what is given to him.

Ironically, Cotto had "his chance" against Mayweather at 140, but wasn't ready.
