This is funny that you ask this seeing how i just got done watching rj vs tarver one. I'll say this very nice. Antonio Tarver wouldnt of lasted as long as Clinton woods did against Roy jones. Roy Jones should what a prime version of what he coudl of done to tarver in the 11th and 12th round. Imagine that plus being not tired and 5 to 8 years younger. Its a no contest. Jones could take anyones best shot in his prime.

I think we saw how limited Tarver was when he fought B-hop who is a master at dealing with Southpaws take away Tarver's unorthadox stance [southpaw] and he is half the fighter ,he admitted after the b-hop fight in the interview that he just could'nt get off ,IMO that was due to B-HOP frustrating him and him not being able to throw a punch let alone make an adjustment just shows u how average Tarver really is

Just for the record they are the same age. So Tarver was not in his prime when he beat Roy either.

With that said, I think Jones would have beat Tarver if they were both in their primes. Roy was basically unstoppable in the 90's.

I can't stand Tarver so this is how I would like to believe it.....

There is a relevant argument to your post.
Fact: Tarvers' professional career took off well after Jones', although they are the "same age". Tarver by many standards was "considered" a young 35 when they fought.

i dont think antonio tarver can do it, i doubt it but I give his brother Antonio Banderas a fair chance though. And their youngest brother Antonio Margarito the youngest of the triplets will be back on top. The Antonios will not be denied.

I remember Tarver was going to fight Jones if he had beat Eric Harding lucky for Tarver he didn't beat Harding because that version of Jones would of whooped him.
