Well yes and no i still think Tarver would cause Jones a little problem just based on stylistic match up but i still think Jones wins wide UD i mean look at there 3rd fight he could of won that easily he hurt Tarver in 4th and 5th and won those rounds clearly and i don't think Jones was that much past it in the 3rd fight he looked good physically and he could of won but unfortunately he was still badly effected mentally from 2 straight KO in a row.

No. Roy would have beat him by UD, maybe even stopped him. He would have found a way to make it look easy after a couple of close rounds.

Tarver is Way! Way! overrated. He beat a shot Roy Jones and that's his only claim to fame..I give him no more credit then the nameless fighters who have beaten other over the hill fighters like Tyson or Holifield. Tarver gets alot of press because he gives animated interviews and always has an excuse when he loses to other journeyman fighters. Heck! an old Bernard Hopkins easilly beat his butt and I think he's over the hill but at least he had world class skills at one point in his career.

                ofcourse

one of Roy Jones rules in boxing. Southpaw will alway make you look bad.

Tarver boxing style is using his right hand jabs and reach advantage to utilize Roy's speed. As well as throw alot of straight left form a distance too
