I doubt it. Cotto might be more afraid of the lack of prize money fighting Marg.

Fight was signed, then all of a sudden Margarito pulled out because he decided taking on his mandatory which earned him less money in a smaller fight. Maybe Margarito is afraid of Cotto for pulling out? Cotto has a lot of better options at this point, is it fair to forget about all that because Tony, who doesn't hold a belt made up his mind to fight him now? Its ******, really, grow up.

Marg hasnt done anything lately to deserve a fight with Cotto. The only people that should get a shot at Cotto are Hatton,Mayweather or DLH.

dude .....for margarito taking williams he sholud be applauded......look what he did to dat beast ....aint nobody else in his right mind gonna fight paul williams....not cotto .....not floyd.........i even belive cintron will lose if he fights williams..........tony fought williams becuz of the **** williams was talking.........yall may hate the man but deep down inside i think we can all agree that Tony is a dangerous man to any welterweight

All of a sudden he beats Golden Johnson and he's the most feared fighter in the welterweight division again ? LOL..Gimme a break man. I don't know how Marg claims that the fight between him & williams was close because it was far from that IMO. He looked slow & lethargic when he fought Williams. All those looping punches make it easy for straight right hands etc...
