I don't see anything wrong with nationalistic pride. What's bad is hating your country and your countrymen. Be careful what you say about nationalistic pride ... you have it painted all over your signature ..

If you're a Filipino, & love Pac, but have a realistic view of him & other fighters out there...I have no problem with you.
I don't care if you root like a rabid dog for him....just don't debate certain things if you're not bringing anything but your LOVE of the guy.

If we're talking "dream fights" , & you say Pac would KO Azumah Nelson in 1 or 2 rds., do not expect to have anyone (besides blind folk like yourself) respect your opinion.
Expect those who know better to come hammer you with facts & informed opinions.

This very same thing applies to the Klits, Tito, Morales......anybody.

It's funny when you feel that you know EVERYTHING about boxing. Makes you feel somewhat invincible huh? Well let me tell you that NO ONE knows ALL about boxing. We're here in this forum to share and learn from each other. Not all posters know everything. And I am man enough to admit I don't . We are also entitled to our own opinions. Never generalize when you post. It might just come back to you as BAD KARMA.

Why don't you read my post like an objective fan, as opposed to a rabid nutlicker ?

If you did, you'd see that the LAST thing I did was generalize.

See....some of you can't debate rationally because you're all bound up by easy-to-sting pride.

I said nothing offensive in that post, unless you are one of the goofballs I was alluding to...
If you are, check yourself before coming at me....because you are the one who has the problem.

It's the same with almost all fight fans. Our bro's across the pond love Ricky Hatton, the down under peeps love KT the mexicans love Barrera and Morales, the puerto ricans love Trinidad and most Euros love the Klits. I don't see what the big deal is. Sometimes these fans make bad judgement calls or are too biased toward their fighter. But everybody just needs to kick back and relax....it's just words on a website......people are so touchy these days..

When a fighter gets in the ring, and you know he has enough power to knock a guy out at any second, people are going to talk about them, period. The "fuss" originated, in my opinion, as much from non-Klit and non-pac man fans getting tired of hearing about them as from any over-the-top fans. I see it alot, anytime someone says something positive about their fighter, there's always some guy waiting to strike him down, and don't give me that "because that guys knows more about boxing than the guy making the nuthugger post" crap either, some of the "haters' " posts are as baised as the "nuthugger" posts, so it's all about who you like, and if they create excitement with big shots and knockouts, so much the better.

I have always given reasons and valid arguments. Having followed his career, I have reasons to believe he's gonna go a long way. It just gets annoying that we're constantly dubbed as nuthuggers when we are fans of a fighter who we believe is just THAT good. That just my opinion.
