Are Hatton fans already convinced he will lose?

I see a lot of them saying "Floyd has to beat Cotto after Hatton"
"If floyd does'nt face Cotto after Hatton he is not P4P"
    etc...

After Hatton? Its like deep down you guys know Floyd will kick his ass?

Floyd is in a lose-lose situation, if he wins he gets no credit at all as usual and if he loses he got exposed. lol good ol boxingscene...

So, what are you saying? Mayweather's career will be finished if Hatton beats him?

if you're going to treat people like Hatton fan boys then expect to be treated like a floyd fanboy.

You know that sensible boxing fans will give floyd credit for beating hatton, especially if he does it decisively. Sure he should fight Cotto if he beats Hatton - thats another step towards a top 5 career. Just because people criticise Mayweather for his competition in the past and didn't find his performance against DLH as masterful as others doesn't mean they can't be objective.

I give Hatton about a 2 in 10 chance of an upset. he's a lot better than some on here give credit, but he lacks the physical tools to beat Mayweather. Hatton is quick but not as quick as PBF, he's strong but that won't help, and he's short and easy to hit. He's skiful enough to compete with floyd (Gatti comparisons are laughable) but he's going to get peppered on the way in all night.

Don't be silly, this is boxing you're talking about, anything can happen.
Everyone was probably saying the same thing about Tyson-Douglas.
        You never know fool.

I give Hatton a good chance, anyone has a chance. I'm just talking about Hatton fans not confident of their fighter? I personally like Hatton and watch most of his fights, but styles make fights, Hatton will be a huge underdog but he has a better chance then Douglas did against Tyson, again read the thread.

Hands down Mayweather is a better fighter (by a country mile!). I think he'll beat Hatton but it wont be a beating, it'll be a hard graft for Floyd and he defiantly wont KO Hatton am 100% certain of that and it'll go the distance. He'll hurt alright, Hatton leaves hes mark.

I still think Hatton might win. Mayweather will have his hands full, that's for sure.

I dont think he would KO Hatton either, I see a 12 round boxing lesson with Mayweather hurting him a few times between rounds with counter punches, btw Mayweather said he is taking Hatton very seriously despite what others think he said he is training harder than the DLH fight.

Hatton, is a very, very good fighter.

That being said, Floyd is going to kick his ass. And that's not a discredit to Hatton or his fans. That should say more about the level Floyd is at, rather than "bashing" Hatton.

Physically and stylistically speaking, It does not look good for Hatton.

Yes, I agree pressure is probably the best way to go about fighting Floyd, but it has to be a certain type of pressure. Pressure that consists of cutting off the ring exceptionally well (which Hatton doesn't do). Pressure that consists of a very fast, stiff hard jab, to back Floyd up (which Hatton doesn't have), and you have to have a decent defense, while you come in, which is probably Hatton's biggest downfall.

Hatton will not be able to any of these things against Floyd, at least to with enough success throughout the fight to win it for him.

He's going to bully his way in, often leaving himself open to sharp counters by Floyd, only to have Floyd either tie him up, or step around and probably nail him again with another counter of some sort.

If Hatton's face holds up, he will see the final bell, if not the fight will be stopped due to massive swelling or cuts, from eating crisp punches round after round.

                    Floyd by TKO 10.
