    Yea, for me definatly in the Top 5, maybe in the Top 3!

    But I guess the temptation for any boxer to carry on would be too great at that point.

      what happens to a fighter after they turn 35 shouldn't affect their ATG status.

          middleweight = MARVIN HAGLER, SUGAR RAY ROBINSON,
          super middle = JOE CALZAGHE
          light heavy = ARCHIE MOORE
          cruiseweight = EVANDER HOLYFIELD
          heavyweight = JOE LOUIS, MUHAMMED ALI, MIKE TYSON

          AND I SAID GIVE A RUN FOR HIS MONEY! NOT BEAT HIM!

              Tarver was a knockout artist from the start and Johnson is just a damn machine so it's not like he was Ko'd by soft hitting fighters here.

              Another thing is that Tarver is a naturally bigger man who could make heavyweight without much work where as Roy slowly built up over years.

              What makes it not really matter much in Roy Jones's overall raking as an all time great is the fact that if we have seen that Tarver and Johnson are both very very good fighters in their own rights.
              This is not a situation where the "great" fighter lost to someone you've never heard of or someone who you never hear of after.
