Cotto couldn't even KO a 36 year old man far removed from his prime, let alone a 30 year old, undefeated champion in his prime who has a great chin. As a matter of fact, Cotto looked like he was in trouble in the final minutes of the fight.

I honestly thought to myself, after Cotto started running, that they both wuold be easy work for mr. Mayweather.

Work on your American idioms please; it's "put up or shut up", not "shut up

Isis, im not a PBF hater, make no mistake, he's my favorite fighter in the world. But he showboats way too much and Cotto is very powerful. The only reason that he didn't KO Shane is that he was obviously taking care of himself way too much and did not do like he said he'd do, engage in a all out brawl againts Cotto. He tried it several times but when he felt Cotto's power, clinched.

Mosley has never been KO'd in his life so I wouldn't use that against Cotto. But I don't recall ever seeing Mosley taking that many hard hits before. He may be 36 but he looked great on saturday.

I'm not saying Cotto would KO Mayweather, I don't think he would have many opportunities to do so, but Cotto does have a lot of KO power, probably the most in the welterweight division, so I think he has the best chance to do so.

Zab caught him with a fast punch, but he wasn't hurt. He was laughing and dodged and blocked the rest of Zab's shots. When you hurt and on ***** street, People don't cont. to roll with punches, they usually just put their hands up.
corley caught him with a nice shot in the 4th, and he stunned floyd, but him hurting him, i really can't say he did because floyd knocked him down several seconds afterwards, but the ref ruled it a slip, which was bull****. judah caught floyd off balance and it should have been called a knockdown but floyd got up very quickly afterwards. also, judah caought floyd with a nice left hand in the 4th, abd because judah's so fast, people though floyd was hurt, but floyd was smiling and judah landed nearly no punches during that flurry besides the initial left hand. but, floyd in that same round started going to zab's body and he was hurting him with body shots, and zab began to back off of floyd. chavez caught floyd with nice shots but again he never hurt floyd, he stunned floyd, and floyd hurt chavez with his uppercuts to him.

cortdawg, this wasn't aimed at you buddy, just the poster you were responding to. anyway, how you been homeboy? ain't talk to since you wrote me a privatre message a while back regarding floyd's career dvd set.

mayweather will never fight him anyway and he will use Arum as an excuse because for him to say that there is no money in it and no drawing power is ******. Cotto has more of a following than Mayweather does. mayweather doesn't have the power to make Cotto respect him the way Shane did and still Cotto walked through it for the majority of the fight. Cotto will not head hunt against Mayweather and would kill his arms and shoulders when maywether shoulder rolls. Cotto is the strongest opponent at 147, and is a bad matchup for mayweather. mayweather knows this, which is why he was hoping Sahne would win and wants nothing to do with Cotto. Shane would have been a better matchup for mayweather at his age. Shane would have tried to use his speed and box more and mayweather would have tried to take advantage of that. Cotto is the most physical 147lber and could wear down Mayweather. This fight will never happen, so it doesn't really matter bercause Floyd will use his dancing With the Stars skills to dance around this fight.

No one has ever finished Mosley, and Cotto even said "The easy way out" Its funny how you say "Far removed from his prime" because before the fight everyone was like "Shane is going to murder Cotto, he is on top of his game and dangerous" Stop eating your words man. Ya'll full of ****.

How was he in trouble? Gassed probaly because of all them clinches.. (Stop listening to the commentators please )

When they were running? You mean boxing? Cotto was landing nice counters.

I am an Oscar fan there is no way you get the same fight. Cotto is younger, stronger and hungrier. Cotto is in his prime and peaking and we all no Oscar is more of a business man now and hasn't been at his best in a long time. Cotto would give mayweather the toughest fight of his career and is a bad matchup for him and Floyd knows it, which is why he will avoid him and use his issues with Arum as an excuse. Floyd will never let this fight happen, so it doesn't matter.
