Cotto Can Clear Out The Division II?

Oscar showed his weakness for body shots against Bernard. And that was many years ago. IF he could still make 147, which I doubt, Cotto would cut him down. And Cotto could beat everyone else on the list except Margarito and Hatton, who I think would stop him.

Hatton? I honestly didnt see that coming,thats cool though.

I'm sorry but I just don't see Ricky Hatton beating Cotto.

He can beat all of them except Mayweather, Williams, and Clottey in my opinion.

Mayweather
Too elusive. He would get tired of trying to stalk Mayweather the entire night. His movement wouldn't allow Cotto to rip to the body. And Mayweather's head movement/reflexes make it almost impossible for him to get hit on the chin on a consistant basis.

Williams

Too easy for this one. Williams is too big and should be fighting at middle weight. His length and puch rate would stiffle Cotto. He would get the jab all night. About the body punching I doubt Cotto could put Williams down. Williams stood in front of Margarito the entire night and took his best body shots as well. Cotto's not as strong of a puncher as Marg. Williams would take this.

Clottey

Clottey could fight at 154 with comfort. He is strong and although he fatigues he can fight tired. And he can take body shots becuase he has one of the strongest bases at Welter. To top that he can give you mulitple looks. He can stand in and ****. Or he can fight going backward. He also has a solid defensive shell similar to Winky. With all that said he has the strength of a legitimate 154 pounder and the speed of a top Welter. He also like Cotto has a fierce body attack. And Shane showed that if you **** away at Cotto's body he will become tired.


His best chance at winning would be Clottey though.

I'm a little surprised by these numbers.. I guess Cotto still doesn't have that unwavering support his advocates seem to have had several fights ago. Even after officially outpointing Shane Mosley. I thought there would be a bigger increase.

Theres fghters in that list that giv em big problems - in this division theres Danger everywhere u look but for my money Cotto gives THEM more problems than they giv him. I Truely believe that Miguel Cotto is the best Fighter in the world right now

margarito is too big for him and mayweather is too skilled a boxer for him

I doubted him at first but he has shown he can hang with the toughest. Mosley wasn't able to hurt him, Floyd won't either and Cotto's style is perfect for beating the pretty boy. The only people I see him losing to in the division are Williams because he is freakishly tall and fast and De La Hoya because De La Hoya eats Cotto type fighters for breakfast.
