Round 2 was close I can tell you that, but if you look at it Cotto landed the more cleaner punches. Body shots also.. He landed a couple there while they were trading.

Mosly flickers the jab.Cotto goes for the body misses. COtto misses a right, Mosley lands a good right hand to the body, 2 good jabs land and then a nice right by Cotto, Mosley misses his right, Cotto lands a left hook, Mosley lands a right, Body shots from Cotto, Cotto throws a jab, straight hook combo missed but hook lands... (if you look at mosley at 1:26 of round 2 it looks like his knees buckled a lil bit) Mosley lands a jab, Cotto lands his, Mosley throws a body shot then a right to the head of Cotto which misses, body shot lands.Nice left hook lands for Mosley crowd goes nuts, Cotto lands a left hand in southpaw, Mosley comes back with his right but barley misses, jabs being thrown.. Some landing.. Probaly the same amount. Mosley lands a good right, crowd goes nuts again, Mosley misses with a right, Cotto lands 3 good shots. Left hook to the head, right left hooks to the body. Mosley throws a right hand and left uppercut, partially blocked by COtto, Cotto sends Mosleys head back with a left in southpaw stance, Mosley misses a right, Cotto comes back with a body shot. Cotto lands a stiff jab and another body shot and Mosley lands a right hand at the final second.

I had the fight 115-113 Cotto.



Mosley hugging Cotto in rounds 4-5-6-7 only showed he was full of **** when he said he was going to brawl. Cotto "rested" during round 9th. The last 3 rounds were pretty much pathetic. Puertorricans are not used to see their stars fighters doing an Oscar de la Hoya when winning a fight. That's why Daniel Santos and Ruiz never became a star like Wilfredo Gomez, Tito Trinidad and Cotto. We expect our starts to fight for 12 rounds. It was disappointing to see Cotto with a "hit and run" style instead of his constant agressiveness. Then again, I believe Mosley punched Cotto hard enough during the 8th round in order to consider the idea of cooling off at the end.



No matter what, even though I rather had seen Cotto KO Mosley, Cotto outboxed Mosley and show everyone he is a force to be reckon with. I hope everyone who said Cotto was not good enough for Mosley and Gayweather Jr... now you can stick your tongue up your asses. Mosley, being the great guy he truely is, gave Cotto his due respect at the end of the fight.

Cotto landed 2 more jabs than Mosley while Mosley landed 2 more power punches than Cotto.

Why shouldn't that round be even? Hogwash my ass. If you wanna score fights on quanity then I don't know what to say. You gotta land some shots bro. That round is EVEN!
