sorry, but how did Mosley win the 11th. I only watched the fight once but i remember that Cotto outboxed mosley that round. If you had mosley winning that you'd have DLH beating mayweather....

Could be wrong, but it was one of the 10th or 11th that was a clear cotto round and effectively won it for him. 115-113

That's what I thought when I had only seen it once.

Just rewatched it last night. Cotto got it 116-112. Mosley and Kessler are the best losers I've ever seen. Lmfao.

Mosley pressed the action in that round & was busier. He had Cotto on the ropes a few times & landed some pretty hard body punches that were effective. Cotto lands a few counters at the end of the round & most want to give it to him. Mosley was busier, coming forward, & landing. Cotto might've landed the cleaner punches towards the end but I don't think it warranted him the round.

The 10th and 12th HAD to be Mosley.

The 11th was very close, but I give that 5% extra to Mosley.

When I score this with the guy coming forward I give the 2nd and the 8th to Cotto and the 11th to Mosley. This were the toughest rounds to score.

              I had it:

              Cotto 1,2,4,5,6,8

              Mosley 3,7,9,10,11,12

              A DRAW.

If you give the 2nd, 8th, and 11th to either guy, either wins. Depending.

The crowd and the commentators were very distracting. The HBO team was wrong about Cotto, and wrong about Mosley at different points. And as some members have already stated; the crowd was RIDICULOUS. They were hyping every Cotto punch thrown. But that's to be expected.
My friend I watched again and I had it like this:
              Cotto 1,2,4,5,6,8,11
              Mosley 3,7,9,10
The 12th was either guy round. I don't think Cotto ran as much as I thought at first, he moved, but really startes running with 1:05 or so of the 12th. Mosley did not do anything in the 12th either to deserve the round hands down.
I liked the fight so much that I'll see it again, and it may change my mind again.

At least Mosley was trying to fight in the 12th. Cotto dumped it. You don't run the last minute if it's even and call it a draw or take the round.

Pretty good scores but Mosley bagged the 11th.

                Very close.

You can see what I was talking about I take it..

Frankly I was expecting a much closer fight than what I saw. I dont have numbers because i didnt have a score card out but I would say cotto won this by a 2 round margin at least.

Most definately, it wasn't as good as Ray Leonard doing it and it wasn't as hyped of a situation either. Cotto clearly didn't do enough.
