Gunstar...you are absolutley correct! Unforfunatley for boxing, were going to see Cotto's desire for money overrule his gut instinct to fight the winner of Mayweather & Hatton. Don't get me wrong, although DLH has lost 3 of his last 5 fights, there is no one in boxing that has a fan base and who can produce the amount of money Oscar can. Is it a bad move for Cotto to fight DLH...for the credibilty of Boxing? Yes! For Cotto to line his pockets for an incredible payday...no! Bottom-line...I think the money will prevail and we'll see a hyped-up and overpriced PPV event for the masses.

The real undisputed championship between Cotto and the Mayweather & Hatton winner will have to wait.

If I was Cotto I would rather fight the winner of Mayweather/Hatton, Cotto should make alot of Money especially if Mayweather wins the fight.

My legacy will be more important to me then money.

Like i've said numerous times. Oscar should not interfere with the current WW division. He is not even a full-time/dedicated boxer anymore. He's a buisness man who puts on the gloves once per year just so he can add another 20+mil to his account. I would be highly pissed off if he gets in the way of a possible WW unification bout.

Remember that Cotto is a Top Rank fighter (Arum-Floyd not on good terms), so Mayweather might just be a brat and refuse to fight him. This ****s things up really bad in my mind because Oscar is probably scared of what Cotto can do to him, so even if Cotto wanted to fight him DLH wouldn't do it, Hatton will take on DLH for sure if he wins, and Mayweather will say Cotto is a nobodyu and Tito's sparring partner (LOL) because he's a top rank fighter. Bad situation, good thing Antonio Margarito is the alternative. Once everyone else at welterweight is out of the way, then Mayweather will HAVE to fight whoever is left standing, or face tainting his legacy.
