I actually bet that Cotto would beat Mosely and that Hatton would beat Floyd and that Hatton beats Cotto in the finale. I'm sticking with that although I think Cotto is a force to be reckoned with. We better hope that Hatton beats Floyd because it appears that Floyd is running from Cotto already. That fight probably will not happen.

At least I got to catch the fight yesterday!

On the topic: I think it was more a matter of Collazo being tricky for Hatton, then Hatton being ****ty at the weight.. It's why I think Malignaggi would stand a good chance against Ricky.

So yeah.. if anything, Hatton should be healthier at WW-- and it shouldn't be an excuse anyway, since Cotto was doing it up at Junior WW as well.
I think Mosley is the one who got us this time.. He wasn't all there.

          Cotto did his job. Impressively.

On December 9th I'm bumping this thread if I can remember.

Yep-- Agreed. I was pissed when he had Cotto going in the middle rounds (can't remember which exactly).. and then seemed to pull off the gas for no reason. But Mosley showed that even though he's a little faded, he's still got skills...

Yeah, I seriously doubt Cotto could make 140 these days, and no way he's going to give up his title at 147 to drop down, maybe if he lost first.

I don't think even Hatton would want it to be at 140. It's not an issue of weight-- both guys have been to both 140 and 147. They both won titles there... I don't think you could say that Hatton is outsized, if Cotto used to fight in the same weightclass as him.
