I think that was the nerves on Mosley's part.

Just an observation but Mosley's stamina was suspect his hand speed was'nt as quick as it used to be & his reactions were slow Cotto was hitting him with jabs all night ,i knew Cotto would get to Mosley eventually and he would tire as i pointed out a couple of days ago the body attacks finally took there toll on Mosley and he began to look his age
I agree but Mosley was still very good he shut out good fighter like Luis Collazo i thought Mosley peformed very well and his over hand right was working like a charm.

just got back from the Garden, seeing Cotto vs Mosley live! ay, it's like this, Mosley was quick with his assault, as usuall, but the more crisp, sharper jabs came from Miguel Cotto. If you were there, you'd clearly see Shane Mosley being boxed around, and his head snapping at the later rounds. Though Mosley had his moments in the beginnning of the rounds, the younger Cotto proud too be MORE active, productive, to win the end of the rounds, though I did give Mosley rounds, 3, 5, and round 7, and 11th was a toss up, so was the 12th, but Cotto clearly beat Shane Mosley.

I'd agree if he didn't look so fresh in his last fight.

But he did look fresh in his last fight. He also looked fresh and sharp in sparring a week ago. Shane had that sparkle and energy the whole week.. But when I saw the images of him in the dressing room before he came out I was deflated. He looked unfocused and dreamy. Cotto woke him up with hard shots during the fight occasionally, but Shane was up and down the whole way. He wasn't all there. I don't think it was because he's old, it just wasn't his night.
