That was my argument with Addison.

So DLH's world titles in 6 weight divisions were all flukes?

Well, that was quite a prediction then.

Frankly, I don't think anyone expected any of what went on overall.

But it was a De La Hoya type scenario for Mosley, agreed.

          When did you say that?

I was talking about his fights with tito(his first loss) and mayweather(his last loss) where he could have won if he would have been able to produce something meaningful in the champions rounds.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS TITLES.

Mosley is defintely not what he once was but I thought he put on a gutsy show last night......Both fighters did well IMO and the decision could have gone either way or even been a draw and nobody really could have bitched too much......It was however strange to see Cotto sort of running away from Mosley at periods in the fight......you don't see Cotto backing up or dancing away very often.

I think it was in your thread(not sure though) about Cotto-Mosley, in one of our arguments. I did think that fight will be fought differently(not the outcome though) and Cotto would have been able to press Mosley all the time and Mosley just would not have been able to produce(especially late). It did work out via a different fight scenario, but it was precisely Mosley's inability to produce in the later rounds that lost him his fight.

Well mosely is thirty six years old now so what did you expect. he still performed well against the younger and more determined cotto. he never got broken down which cotto is known for doing to his opponents. he never gave up and fought till the end which is very impressive imo for someone at shanes age.

Carlos Quintana was open about Cotto's speed being surprising. Anyone who has been following him for awhile (before his weight drained 140 days) knows that the guy has a well rounded skill set and can fire off quick punches in bunches.

Cotto adapts to his opponents and he will continue to surprise his critics every time he fights. The right hand was EXCELLENT last night.

Mosley obviously isn't as quick as he used to be, but there is little difference between the guy who beat down Collazo and the guy who lost to Miguel last night. Cotto is a very, very good fighter.
