a lttle late , but yeah i think he does. he looked fast and the sound of his punches were harder then during the pavlik fight IMO.he has a long reach if only he works more on jabbing, he should jab the crap out of his opponents.

Haye is a great fighter on the rise but can he handle the power and size of a true heavyweight?

he is a true heavyweight, thats the whole point, he finds it too hard to make weight at Cruiser.

I don't think anyone questions Haye's power, though it will be diminished a bit at heavyweight. His chin though, leaves a bit to be desired.

Haye will definitely be better at heavyweight, He can move and has good power unlike 85% of the current HW who are just fat HW really.

His punch resistant would be a lot better instead of losing 2 stones to make Cruiserweight, Mormeck hit him with good shots and he took them so all credit to him, He wanted to have the experience of going 12 rounds against abdoul and thats why he didnt KO him.

Ive never seen a guys chin get better as he moved up from light heavy or cruiser to heavy. in fact its usually just the opposite. they wont be as weight drained but they'll be getting hit by much bigger men. haye is going to have to turn into a good defensive fighter if he's going to have any success as a heavyweight. he;s not exactly holyfield in the chin and defense department
