I'm not saying what the ref did was right or good reffing. Not saying that. I'm just saying that after watching the fight again, I do not believe that the ref's action foiled Shane at all. Cotto wasn't hurt, IMO. He was on the defensive and under attack.

Evidently the ref didn't think it was a bad time to clean up the corner. Even though Lampley was animated, Steward's comments did not indicate that somehow the ref had saved Cotto from certain destruction. It just didn't appear that way to me either.

I dont think Steward was really paying attention. He was too busy thinking about what he was saying.

Mosley got robbed!!!! It was a close fight, yes, but I felt Mosley pulle it out 7 rounds to 5. He took a couple of the middle rounds off and tried to box but had Cotto backing up for the final 4 rounds of the fight and definitely pulled it off. Lederman as usual is watching another fight, especially in giving Cotto that 12th round. I'd love to see this fight again, maybe a rematch as soon as possible, but Cotto did not deserve that win. A draw at worst.

I'm gonna watch this fight again.

When I saw that two of the three judges had scored the Malignaggi fight in favor of Cotto by wide margins I knew Mosley was in trouble.

Mosley thought it was a good call. So that just makes everyones else arguments useless. Yea it was close, but I thought Cotto landed the cleaner shots. Left hook and right hands were landing good. Mosley would clinch many times.

I need to rewatch the fight again. We all have to.

What if Mosley wins by very close decision, I'm sure no one will argue the score hahaha.

                  Karmas a ***** then.

Mosley got gifts against De La Hoya.

Not saying this fight was a gift, but it was close, but in favor of Cotto. You gotta understand that when Cotto would land a punch the crowd would go nuts. That can affect the scoring.

                  Theres always a first time.

That's exactly what it was. Cotto would land a punch and the PR crowd would go banannas. But for the life of me, I don't see how you could back up for the final 4 rounds like a ***** and win a fight? How the hell does that happen? Mosley won that fight easily 7 rounds to 5 and the decisions were swayed by the crowd and atmosphere.....Mosley finished that fight very strong and how that buffoon Lederman could give Cotto that 12th round just shows the depths of incredibility he has stooped too these days. It was a very close and exciting fight, but Mosley edged that fight and at the very very worst, lost a draw. I think Mosle seriously buzzed and hurt Cotto many more times than Cotto hurt Mosley. Mosley was never in any serious trouble throughtout the fight, but Cotto was, especially during that BS slippage crap. Props to Sugar Shane.

I though this thread about Cotto's chin.

Anyway he got decent chin but not the world class chin. If he faced a puncher like Cintron he cant brawl same as he did with Torres because Cintron made many guys with good chin look chinless
