Great win for Cotto, PBF still outboxes both though!

Cotto fought a great fight tonight, he did everything he had to do to win a close fight, he used the Jab, he ****** the body and his left was on point when he unleashed it... Shane knew he was in there with a ****er who not only comes forward but has the aresenial to do so effectively.. Mosely is far from finished and would fair a good chance to win a rematch... With that said you saw when Mosely was on his toes he got the best of Cotto.. and when Cotto was punching he got the best of Shane... Floyd is always on his toes and doesnt allow you to hit him when you are punching him i can see Floyd winning 118-111 against both Cotto and Mosely

Mosley didn't use the jab and throw as many combinations as I thought he would. His stamina was great though and I had it 115-113 for Cotto. Good fight, but you're absolutely right and that's the first thing that I thought...... that Floyd would box circles around both of them. Cotto looked really good, just not "that" good.

Exactly... Lampley said it best... the less exciting, the better for Mosley. Mosley was winning th rounds that they weren't brawling like hell.

Floyd is smart enough to NOT get ****** into a brawl, so I think he would fare better than Mosley did tonight

          IF

Miguel Cotto doesn't have a way to combat what Mosley did if and when he ever faces Mayweather. Cotto didn't have a great answer tonight, but that is what the training period before a fight is for.

I don't think it be that wide but I think he'd defeat both. I haven't seen tonight's fight. I think Shane would be more difficult than Cotto for Floyd.

If Cotto faces Mayweather, I see Mayweather winning.

Cotto looked really fast early and originally thought "Wow, how would Mayweather deal with this?" He also had great jab, but both sealed up the speed and jab in the later rounds. That and Mayweather would just eat him up using that overhand right that Mosley kept landing. Maybe more uppercuts too.

I think Cotto would give Mayweather the fight of his life but he might no get the chance after Hatton's done with him.
