Case in point: I was on a site the other day and there was a poll running, "Who will win out of Hatton and Mayweather" out of 30 odd votes 6 of them were for Mayweater to win.

When Hatton is beat on Dec 8th it will be considered a big upset in the eyes of the casual fan.
That doesn't bother me in the slightest. Some people just like watching big fights and if that is all they want then fair play to them.

This is a golden era for British boxing no doubt, another great performance tonight from Haye. Hatton is very much up against it but if he were to win the year would have been the best ever for British boxing.

The pressure is building up on Hatton now that all the other British fighters are winning their world title fights.

I bet everyone loves Bruno and Lennox too. Both of those must be household names over their.

I've listed by nationality according to BoxRec. The US has the most with 15, and the UK is second with 9. Tomorrow, the US may gain one (Mosley).

Britain: 63,000,000 and 9 belts, that's one belt per 7 million people.

USA: 300,000,000 and 16 belts, that's one belt per about 19 million people...

We have good exciting boxers like: Haye, Hatton, Calzaghe, Woods, Macca, Khan, Witter, Froch, etc.

We have 3 Ring Champions: Calzaghe, Hatton and Haye.

I would say this is the best year for British boxing in 100 years.
