Hatton or Cotto: Who's Better?

Im wondering this because Ive been reading alot of threads about Floyd vs Hatton or Floyd vs Cotto and in those threads you always hear people compare Hatton & Cotto. Half the people say they fight alot and the other half say they fight nothing alike. The biggest reason why I made this is because when the people were comparing them I saw a few people saying that they were different and that Hatton was clearly a level above Cotto with his combination of speed & aggression. Then I would read some more and people would say that Cotto is clearly a level above because he's a perfect boxer puncher with skill while Hatton is just a sloppy boxer. I heard some people say Hatton was clearly better and then another guy said that Floyd is a punk for fighting a bum like Hatton who has no kind of chance to beat him with his low skill level and that Cotto is much better.

Thats why I want to get this out in the open right now. Who is the better fighter. Again, Im not talking about head to head because I think the weight could make a differnce in the debate. Im just talking about being a pure fighter. Who is the best? Is Hatton the more skilled guy or is Cotto? Is Hatton better P4P or is Cotto? Again, not who would win head to head but just who is the better fighter. I say this because someone might think that Hatton is a better overall fighter but Cotto would win simply because he is natually bigger. Thats why all I want to know is who is the better fighter

Hatton is much faster and throws more punches. Cotto clearly hits harder and is more technically sound when he fights.

Cotto is shaky in the chin department while Hatton has very rarely been troubled. Having said that almost everyone Cotto has fought have been top young contenders. I think he's probably beaten more undefeated young fighters than any other current boxer.
