No one has knocked out Gatti and going into Mayweather fight Gatti was only stopped twice once on a cut vs Manfredy and the other time was against Oscar De La Hoya when Gatti's corner threw in the towel.

      God your a dumbass...

Do you know what P4P Means? Were not comparing Calzaghe's power at Supermiddleweight to Floyd at his Natural weight, Its comparing P4P power, IMO this cant be compared because Calzaghe has fought his whole career at 168 and his power was good back in the days until he broke his hands, Same goes for Floyd who has good power at HIS NATURAL WEIGHTCLASS at 130-140 but he kept moving up thats why his power went down and he also broke his hand just like Joe. We have yet to see Calzaghe at Light Heavyweight and then compare the P4P Power as Floyd was knocking out guys who were bigger than him just with skill/accuracy, he stopped until he hurt his hands. Lets see Calzaghe fight 20 pounds above his weight class ( 188-190 pounds/Cruiserweight) and see if he can knock out guys there, even though he has'nt been to in his own weightclass for the last few years.

If you guys think were comparing Calzaghe's power at Super middleweight to Floyd's at Welterweight then your a bunch of ******s. Please google "P4P" before replying to this thread. Thanks!

true he doesnt have the ko power he use to. he still hits hard though. he admits his hands would get ****ed if he punches as hard as he can. but when u hit soemone with 100 punches ultimately your arms will tire and get weaker. i mean name any smw that could throw 1000 punches let alone hit lol. they would be gasping for air!

i think he got a score of 760 or something on a machine. not sure what the number was but i saw a clip of it for the manfredo promo.

Are you for real? P4P was invented to compare the skills of fighters of different weights, level the playing field, so to speak. If you're twisted logic were the case, then Pac would EASILY be the top P4P, since he turned pro at 106, and won his first world title at Flyweight when he weighed 112.

p4p joe hits harder, joe also tries to go for some harder shots in his natural style of fighting. when he throws fast flurries a lot miss and are weak. when he throws a solid straight left they do stun people.

                  Okay lets try again mate...

                  Thread title:

Pound 4 Pound Who punches harder? Mayweather or Calzaghe?

Which weight did Calzaghe's start in? 168
Which weight did Floyd start in? 130

                  Calzaghe has 32 KO's in 44 fights at 168
                  Mayweather had 20 KO's in 27 Fights at 130

You figure out who has a better percentage?

Mayweather knocked out fighters 130-147, who has calzaghe knocked out above 168? See thats the reason we cant compare because Calzaghe has'nt moved up yet while Mayweather has moved 4 Divisions while still scoring KO/TKO's on opponents.

So who punches harder Pound 4 Pound? You figure it out. God can Floyd get a break, its like the world against him just because hes got a big mouth.

If were both at a neutral weight inbetween what they both fight at now I believe Floyd would hit harder. But neither are big punchers.
