Watching Winky Is Like Watching Paint Dry

Watching Winky Is Like Watching Paint Dry i know some people like watching him but i find nearly all his fights boring i appreciate the art of defensive Boxing like James Toney etc but Winky is so methodical ,he is effective but not good to watch IMO

I was the first to vote. Watching Winky is good. Fair enough he might not give us massive knock outs in all of his fights but he's a VERY good boxer. Being a true boxing fan surely you should appreciate the brawlers AND the boxers. 75% of the time I would rather watch a talented boxer capitalize on his opponents mistakes and pick him apart than seeing somebody fly in every round with his arms swinging everywhere.

That's why I'm a big Mosley fan. His hand speed, foot speed, combinations and defense etc are all really good and he also has the power to KO his opponents.

i appreciate good counter punchers ,movment etc i just dont like the way Winky fights the same all he bring no excitiment when i watch him

Yeah i know what you mean. It's boring but effective.

If you like exciting fighters watch Michael Katsidis. He fights the way Ricky Hatton should. He's an absolute warrior.

I'm a big Winky fan, I think his power and chin are massively underrated. The only thing I don't like about him is that at times he seems to be able to finish oppenents but refuses to finish them. A good example would be the first fight with Mosley, he pummelled him around the ring in that fight. Even Shane recently stated Winky was a very powerful fighter (he said that to be able to prove Cotto won't be able to knock him out).

Winky is a more exciting fighter than Hopkins in my opinion, but I will admit he's not the most exciting fighter. I like to watch him though

I LOVE watching Winky.

He blocks all 15 shots of a combination from whoever he's fighting, and then shoots the right jab... hard.

He seriously does win fights on the jab alone, it's pretty incredible.

I liked watching Winky school Trinidad with the jab. He made the legend Trinidad look like a tomato can, that fight was pure ownage.
