in my opinion the top 3 are:

          1) louis
          2) ali
          3) lewis

on his day i would say lewis beats every other heavyweight in history and he also has a great chance of beating both ali and louis. he had a great jab, wonderful right hand and his uppercut was devastating

Not sure where to rank him but he belongs in the top 10. Great career. And I love how he got revenge with fighters he lost too.

You see when you break it down like that although its doesn't tell the whole story it gives a greater insight. The top 4 defended their titles 10 - 25 times. As did Tyson and Burns but it adds weight to the case around their position.

Obviously in the days of Johnson and Burns there was only one title so.....

i think lewis would of popped the jab in his face all night long and hit him with viscious uppercuts and right hands. even in his prime tyson's danger subdued after round 5. i think lewis schools him 9 times out of 10
