I think Hatton and his camp, may have slightly more idea of his best fighting weight than you armchair experts....

If he says he felt slow and lacked stamina at 147, then they are knocking a few pounds off to get the best of both worlds....

You can't argue with what they are doing , because you don't have the facts..

Kinda agree, to be honest even if hatton comes in at 143 and a little faster, i dont believe he can match mayweather's footwork anyways, mayweather isnt gonna look to block hattons shots by covering up, he will look to hit, move, hit, move, then move in and potshot.

If hatton doesnt rush at him from the first bell and tries something different, that may throw floyd, i think we all know that this wont happen and hatton is gonna rush him straight away like a bull in a china shop.

I think hatton's gameplan is all out assualt for 12 rounds, if floyd's footwork is smart, this may suit him, if hatton can land some good shots early, floyd may have to chase hatton to won back rounds, and then we've got a real fight.

I think the Hatton camp are very aware of the stamina issue that Hatton felt at 147, and that would fall straight into Mayweathers hands should Hatton fail to keep the pace up for the entire 12 rounds..which is very rarely a problem for Hatton at 140..

He won't compare with PBF on speed no matter what he does....but still more speed is better that less...

The camp obviousely feel sacraficing a small amount of power for a little more speed and stamina is worth the trade off..

            Seems fair enough...

for hatton to be fast he's gonna need that shrinking machine from honey i shrunk the kids so he can weigh 3 ounces. even then i give the edge to mayweather.

The good experience for Floyd vs the likes of DLH and Judah...allowed him to use other tools to win when his speed wasn't the biggest factor...in fact Judah to me was faster and DLH was just as fast if not faster

vs Judah he turned into more of a pressure fighter and walked Judah down and worked the body to tire Judah out when he couldn't outspeed him

vs DLH he used very good footwork and pot shots to coast to victory as DLH tired out down the stretch in a close fight

Hatton is better than people think, but many forget that Floyd has more tools than his speed

I agree, hand-speed will be a non-issue in this fight.

I can`t wait for this fight to happen. i`m like a kid waiting for xmas. HURRY UP.

I just rewatched Hatton vs Castillo, after watching Calzaghe the other night, i forgot what an ugly style Hatton has at the top level.
