Cotto vs Mallinagi complaint

Watched this fight again the other night and its still irratating me, ive mentioned it before in another thread but nobody really took it on, 1st off im a big fan of Steve (**** Dastardly) Smoger but in the Cotto vs Mallinagi fight he was saying in the later rounds "Dance Paulie Dance" and even later when Mallinagi was taking a real beating "RUN PAULIE RUN!"
Nuts, just cant beleive no1's said anything about it, he's basically cheering him on!

Yes and that's a good thing.

Because Malignaggi was taking a beating Man. The minute he sat down and traded with Cotto he was getting ****ing obliterated. He at least attempted to make the fight exciting but in the late rounds Smoger was close to stopping it.

Refs will often say things like that if they are thinking about stopping a fight. Its unfair to stop a fight like that just unexpectedly, you gotta give some sort of warning, like "show me something"

But since IF he stopped that fight, it would have been like the COTTO-JUDAH fight. That fight was stopped Cause Judah was taking a hell of a beating, and in the 11th it was getting particularly bad. Judah wasnt badly hurt or anything.

Same thing here. But you can say "show me somthing" cause Malignagi was still definetly fighting, but if he wanted to survive the fight he had to avoid taking to much punishment

i like it when refs give a lil advice here and there. i think the craziest thing ive ever heard a ref say was "are you ladies gonna dance all night or you gonna fight?" i just cant remember who said that or what fight it was. i was really young.
