  • Kelly Pavlik last 2 wins

Against the beast Miranda and the undisputed middleweight champion of the world Taylor who had 2 wins against the great Hopkins.

My question to you is, can Calzaghe match Pavlik's 2 big wins in his career??

I don't view Pavlik's win over Miranda as a huge accomplishment.
He was/is a decent fighter that was very feared but I know that Sweetness would have taken his ass apart had he been healthy in their fight.

I have respect for Miranda but Pavlik's win over him doesn't mean more than a victory over Lacy or Kessler.

You can't make excuses for Miranda, Pavlik also has a tough time making weight.

I think Calzaghe's win over Lacy and Kessler are bigger. Pavlik's wins are big, don't get me wrong, and Zertuche and Zuniga are also no slouches either. And it's worth mentioning Pavlik is the only person to knock these four men out in their carrers. Still, Calzaghe's Kessler win is huge and his domination of Lacy was pretty damn big too.

No, I'm saying Allan "Sweetness" Green would have taken apart Edison Miranda had he been healthy.

I think it will take Pavlik MORE than just 2 big wins to match a resume of someone who reigned supreme all by himself for 10 years straight. it isn't so much the name's but when you look at resume's you look for accomplishments aswell.. before you can place Pavlik or anyone for that matter up there with Joe you 1st have to see how THEY themselves did in each said fight.. for example, against Miranda Pavlik was put against a vicious puncher and an overall power house but naturally Pavlik had the bigger frame, anyone who wasn't blind like myself towards anyone going against Edison would have seen that Pavlik's frame and height, power, jab and just overall skill out matched Miranda, it took for people like myself who got caught up thinking Miranda was that much of a problem, it took him getting KTFO for us to realize exactly who Kelly Pavlik was.. Kessler was a more even match up and had a MUCH better record than Miranda..

against Taylor we saw Pavlik losing the fight until he knocked Taylor out, we even saw him go down from a childish mistake. Taylor until this very day STILL possess's the tools to defeat Pavlik it's just NO ONE ever made him pay for his ametuer-like mistakes the way Pavlik did, no one else had that kind of power to **** Taylor up so bad.. not to take anything away from Pavlik but his 2 biggest wins, which were GREAT by the way, are his ONLY 2.. I can't say the same thing for Joe.. I feel Joe has a better record and a better resume Pavlik just has a better KO ratio, no doubt about that. 100

Sir, no offence Allan Green fought like a coward against Miranda.

Both fighters are on the comeback trail. I would like to see a rematch at 168. I would favor Green to win but it could go either way.
