Actually, I think Shane Mosley is an old, contact-wearing, glassy-eyed ***got. I've never rooted for Mosley in my LIFE.

I think he'll win this fight but thats beside the point, I'll be rooting for Cotto, because I want Cotto and Floyd to fight.

But you and I both know thats not what Cotto was 'basically saying'. That was a very clear statement, made clear by the fact that he began the sentence with "in regards to the dirty fighting" and then followed it up with "you do what you have to do to win." You don't need to look for hidden meaning in such an obvious statement.

I think Miguel wants to just come out and say "Yea I did what I did, and what? I lose a point here and there, but I win the fights, I'm not the dirtiest guy in boxing, never been DQ'd, whats the big ****ing deal??", which is a statement i could agree with...but he doesn't come out and say it like that because it would destroy some of you guys' fragile minds. Stop idolizing these boxers so much, people...just stop. Just watch the sport and enjoy it.

The amount of man-on-man idolatry that goes on in boxing makes my stomach hurt...

If he's dirty so be it. I'm sorry I had to have people analyze every single second of every single round to point it out to me.

Even in the Judah fight you hear Merchant say, "He doesnt have a history of doing that." Referring to dirty tactics when hurt. And I still refuse to think he did them because he was hurt. The only time Cotto was wobbled was 2:30 into the second round, and the second low blow, and worst of the two didnt occur until a round later when he was coming forward. It's actually obvious to me, but we've been there before.

For the record, I'll root for a guy who does whatever it takes to win as opposed to a guy who does not.
