Are you serious? Sports wise we are probably the most biased nation on the planet. Any sport that we are not good at we don't even consider a sport but the second our players have any success in it it suddenly becomes our national pasttime. In fact we are so in love with our sport we consider our athletes to be more of a heroes then our soldiers or our doctors. We got our values totally ****ed up. And it does not matter that the rest of the world is about the same, we got to be better then that.

I don't think Cotto will lose, but I think he'll have a tough time. Mosley is more technical than Zab and can keep himself under control a lot better. I don't think he'll fall into Cotto's hands that easy, but how can you stop a pressure fighter? A good example was Julio Diaz attempting to box Juan Diaz. Nope, that didn't work. It eventually catches up to you.Comment

....I'm talking about the situations where you have a single boxer or other sports figrue giving life to an entire nation or part of the world. Tito, Cotto, Pacman, etc. etc. All of the people get behind them them in a national ferver. That absolutely does not happen here because 90% of the people have more to live for than a sports hero. When you live in a depressed part of the world,your dirt poor, and life just plain sucks, you can throw your heart into a sports hero as a way to feel better about your situation and your country. We will never be that fanatical because at the end of the day our above par lives take precedence.Comment
