    Joe Calzaghe vs. Lucian Bute

Does anyone want to see this fight? Not because it would a life and death test for either... I think Calzaghe wins, but...

It would be nice to see all 4 ABC belts and The Ring belt be unified for one person for the second time ever. Then he can fight the only other man who has done so... Bernard Hopkins.

It's an intresting fight, I think Bute is highly underrated by the people on this forum. He might not have had as much experience as Calzaghe or Kessler. But I feel that he would give them both hell of a boxing match. He needs to work on his angles of fighting though.

Calzaghe is a pure beast. he made me erase all doubt because i thought he was going to get knocked out on saturday and i bet on Kessler. it was crazy how he had his hands down and was still able to get away with what he does. i dont see any super middleweight being able to beat him. he might get his first lost at light heavy to Dawson or Woods. might!

Bute would have a hell of a time with Calzaghe, but I reckon he'd have a harder tme with Kessler. Calzaghe has literally nothing to prove at 168 lbs and even if a fight could be made one of the sanctioning bodies would likely ***** out and strip one of the titleholders for not fighting Denis Inkin or something.

My prediction is a KO win for Kessler, a points win for Joe.

Bute is very good by the way. Between Kessler, Miranda, Bute and Lacy we could have quite a hot division on out hands in the next couple of years.

I favor Calzaghe to beat him by decision. But for some reason I feel Bute would cause Kessler alot of problems. Kesslers fast, but I think Lucian Bute is faster. Kessler fights on angles like Calzaghe which is an advantage. But Butes speed and I don't know if Bute knows what flaws he has and what flaws he doesn't have. Though I do question Butes chin though, I haven't seen him take a really hard shot from anyone yet. Kessler might be able to ko him, but I see bute leading on the scorecards before that happens.

Against Berrio he struggled with the straight right hands in the opening rounds. Kessler has straighter punches and hits harder, and I just think that Bute would succumb eventually. It would be a good fight.

I predict Super Middleweight to become the hottest division in boxing in the next year.

Calzaghe already had the IBF belt and was stripped. Bute's belt is not real. Calz has them all.
