    Fantasy fights proves nothing!

In a fantasy fight I can pick Ricardo Mayorga over Ray Robinson and you can't never prove me wrong.

Toney isnt moving in and out constatntly changing distance and throwing punches. Calzaghe would be constantly shifting. Tapping Jones. Jones would have to try to hit Joe hard and gain his respect because if you dont... before you know it its the 9th round and the same tapping you felt from Calzaghe in round 1 will be the same tapping you're feeling in round 9. Only now, you are several rounds behind.

Neither Jones nor Cal are conventional fighters. I think Jones has and edge in speed and power. Cal has an advantage in conditioning and workrate. If Jones cant hurt Cal, its gonna be a long nite. Hurt Cal and he gets very sloppy. Kessler hit him with good uppercuts and I saw the ***** in his armour. He fights back with his head forward throwing wildman punches. Easyt pickings for a good fighter...

Joe is not the only one, I just think No one could have touched a Prime RJJ at 168, He moved to LH because no one could be competitive with him at 168 and he when he moved to LH no one could be competitive with him there so he moved to HW, his setback was when he lost 30+ Pounds and came completely weight drained, I know how that ****s you up. The thing is I just want people to be honest about their prediction and tell why who would beat who. give reasons.

IMO Prime RJJ at 168 lbs would beat Prime Calzaghe.

Calzaghe usually has an advantage during fights like handspeed etc, what has he got on Jones?

          Handspeed goes to Jones
          Power goes to Jones
          Reflex/Movement goes to Jones
Stamina/Durability = Equal as none of them fade.

I have seen Calzaghe knocked down and hurt at 168, I have never seen anyone touch a prime RJJ at 168.

Please be honest, because this is a serious thread.

Hopkins was way off his peak when he fought RJJ & James Toney style was tailor made for RJJ , Joe would find Roy he is an intelligent fighter who uses a great southpaw jab and attacks from angles cause he has great footwork

Roy barley lost ROUNDS let alone lose a fight in his prime. NOONE can compare to his amalgamation of speed, power, reflexes, and athletic ability. Roy would have been to much for Calzaghe and anyone else from 160-175 in his prime.

                Handspeed? Be real.

                Footspeed/footwork? Not Joe's best feature.

                Power? Snort, chuckle.

Defense? Joe's activity IS his defense (Williams-ish)

Chin? Joe seems to have the better chin.

Conditioning? Not an issue for EITHER guy.

Ring Smarts/Confidence/Intangibles? I gotta go with Roy

LOL ,He moved to LH because no one could be competitive with him at 168

it was probably the most competitive SMW era ever and Roy hardly fought any of the champions in it ,he moved upto light heavyweight because it was'nt competitive who was at lightheavyweight of any note that was so great

Roy got knocked down one time in his prime. I just don't see how Cal could beat him there is just to many advantages in Roy's favor.
