I believe Jones could and probably would KO Calzaghe. But i think Calzaghe would truly stretch Jones. At Supermiddle we never saw Jones really tested. I dont think any of his opponents comes close to what Calzaghe would bring.

I also think Calzaghe was a harder puncher when he was younger. Just watch his first round knock down of the granite chinned Eubank. He was also faster when he was younger.

Its a much closer match up then people think IMO
I agree..............completely. Calzaghe has proven over and over again that he is a winner and finds a way to win. RJJ is a human, even pumped up on roids. Thus, Cal has his chances even against the "alien".

It has been established Cal has a chance. Just not a very good one against Prime RJJ and Cal would beat anyone else at that weight.

I'm not a RJJ fan at all. Actually I can't stand the guy. But to say he's not one of the greatest fighters of the past 25 years is ludicrous. He was a freak of nature and would have matched or exceeded all of Joe C's strengths. Calzaghe is very good, but RJJ was great. Even now I think it would be a close fight if Jones came down to 168. If Calzaghe goes up to 175, Jones handles him.

He IS an all time great and he IS a legend. You not thinking he is the best ever gives you the right to discredit his entire career when he has done things in the sport many fighters will never have the chance to do, ever.
Roy promoted himself and didnt fight the best SMW infact he moved up to get away from them ,sorry but i have no respect for Drugs cheats Sorry

domt matter what weight.. Roy wins.. Calzaghe wouldnt knwo what to do when facing an opponont with even faster hands than his, with power to go with it.. Roy is extremely accurate.. Jones takes this one, no problems at all..

Just a question to those who are discrediting RJJ. Why do you think Calzaghe would win? Besides trashing Jones for "ducking" or using steroids, try coming up with an argument based on the 2 fighters abilities in the ring.

nah in all fairness ive just been trying to wind up these people that nuthug Roy to death he is a legend a great fighter ,not the best P4P fighter in the world ever though he had the tools to be but IMO never proved it by fighting the people he should have

u know what pisses me off is the lack of Respect shown to Joe after another masterfull performance some are discrediting Kessler and i know its only because he is not American, put it this way if RJJ was British & we claimed him to be the best p4p ever in the world after beign knocked out twice we would get laughed out of town and ridiculed to **** guaranteed
