He only had to have one fight at 168 to enter into this debate of who is the best fighter at that weight , how long you were there dont mean **** ,, Roy at 168 was a freak and would KO both Kessler and JC .

Great win by Joe but his prior resume is still the crap it was before Kessler , one fight like this dont make you the best in history , keep things in perspective guys .

A couple of years back his record although impressive lacked a vital ingredient i.e. a prime and dangerous current Champion.

Since then he has added two of these to his resume, that in itself doesn't tell the whole story though because he absolutely dominated Lacy and was a class above him, with Kessler once again he showed that he has unbelievable ability but add that to the fact he showed fabulous fitness, stamina and speed given the fact that he is almost 36 years of age.

He is easily the greatest Super Middle of all time in my book. Yes Toney and Jones boxed in this division but they moved through, Joe has cleared out the division.

i think that there are a few super middleweights that may have beat him but he is the best super middleweight ever to stay in the division for a long period of time.

Jones was very special but he didn't spend enough time at the weight to warrant being called the greatest super middle ever.

I'll admit that a few select fighters who have passed through the division are arguably better than Joe, but his longevity and his 21 defenses give him the right to be called the greatest super middle ever.

Calzaghe pwns the 168 division so far.

I pick Calzaghe over Nunn and Toney any day. As for Roy, its a tough one. If they'd fought 5 years ago would it have meant anything? Would it now if they met at 175? A 1997 RJJ would maybe have beaten Calzaghe on points, but on the other hand Joe may have knocked him out. Crystal ball anyone?
