Joe Calzaghe is the best fighter in boxing, I think he is the #1 p4p fighter in boxing ahead of Floyd and Pacman IMO. Unfortunately, The Ring p4p rankings will keep Floyd at #1 and Pacman at #2 because they are predjudiced against European fighters.

Well at this point it's a matter of opinion. I think MK would have given Ex all he could eat. Though I think EX would have squeaked it out by 1 or 2 points, comming on strong as he does down the stretch.

See I'm just defending the idea that I can't see how it's possible to rate Calzaghe higher than Hopkins on a P4P list when he hasn't achieved anything compared to him in reality.

I agree in part. The Ring is biased against non-American fighters like JoeCal, who IMO should be higher than Floyd in the p4p rankings. I still think Pac should be number one though. If Joe beats Pavlik he gets top spot.

I believe it IS debatable. EX won a long shot fight vs Tarver by total domination. Zag did the same to Lacy. They both have a ton of consecutive defenses, though EX was beat str8 up by Taylor...2 times...

Hopkins has disassembled star caliber fighters greater than MK or Lacy.
