Even though I agree with you on a lot of things you post.Calzaghie is the better athlete-no doubt. but Kessler threw the textbook perfect uppercuts and straight rights-Btw Calzaghe showed a serious beard early on.
But to say calzaghie looked technically good even is a stretch. he is great at what he does, which is in and out and combination(akward) go.
Kessler lost because he has to set to throw effectively. whenever calzaghie got inside kessler was just plain clumbsy!
Kessler lost because of poor corner and inability to fight effectively close up! standard european problems.
Calzaghie is a rare breed of brawler that can box effectively-I see Hopkins beating him though- he has the right mentality to do it!
This is never going to happen(Highlighted).
Hopkins could NOT get away with his crap with Joe.
Joe has the hand speed to make B-hop look silly...
B-hop sticks his chin out taunting and Joe hits it.
Whether this fight happens now or within the last 10 years.
No wonder Borenard has avoided him like the plague for so long....
I'm not sure I heard right but did Joe call Hopkins out after the fight tonight???
I would be interested in what B-Hype has to say.Comment

WHAT???????? HUH????????Couple things need to be said.
First- Kesslers corner should be shot.
Second- if you as a fighter with 39 wins and a champion can't tell when another guy is pitty-patting your ass then u are an overhyped joke.
Kessler was actually covering up defensively when Calzaghe was throwing **** that looked like slaps from a pissed off hooker. His corner should have slapped the **** out of Kessler and said "go fight that mother****er" instead of whipering in his ear throw the uppercut-like thats a good idea when Joe is on his toes jabbing and boxing-***in joke!
Calzaghie should have lost that fight. had he been facing a guy that wasn't afraid of getting hit- he would have.
this should serve as a reminder of how good an untested fighter can look until he faces somone who can actually box-feather fisted or not!
BTW i picked Kessler, and in hindsight, i regret it. the guy is technically su8perior to Calzaghie, but he has no athleticism whatsoever!!!
We are on different planets. In different dimensions.
But you are entitled to your view.Comment

Picture this:
You mention betting on a fight with a guy in a thread, 1 month ago-- yet no definite agreement is mad-- and NOTHING is sigged. Then the dude pops up asking for points about 1 month later. Would you know what the **** he's talking about? Come on, man..Comment

I agree with you on the point that Kesslers corner should be shot. Kessler was alone in that ring. His corner was not there to support him. During one round, the advice that was given...Couple things need to be said.

"Throw the right, then the left. Or throw the left then the right."
Honestly, I think Kessler was already doing that. It wasn't working, throw the guy a ****ing bone. Give him something he can use.Comment

Absolutely incredible performance from Joe and he's gotta be in the top three pound for pound fighters in the world now after beating Kesslers ass!
The greatest super middleweight ever for me.
I just wish he'd stop acting so damn ****y
