I don't think it was his opponets fault just that he already came into the fight with an injury.

Some fighters just don't mind taking a punch. When i used to box, i wouldn't mind taking a punch to deliver mine cause i had a decent punch. Sometimes too when you can take a punch you don't mind the punch at all.

But i aggree, not worth take unnessary punishment but sometimes fighters are properly trained or don't take the time to develop the art of defense. Some are just better then others.
the G-Man was a ****y person depended alot on his power and chin to win fights. he had other tools.

It not about one fight win but it about fighting many other fight in the future if a person fight like that every fight the damage will become unrepairable.

Don King was looking to make a quick buck but G-Man Nigel Benn fight effect both fighters. niether one was the same and it made me thinking which person I want to be, the person in the wheelchair or the other person who make this person on the wheelchair and live with guilte in his life.

So that is one of the reason i quit boxing abit or wanna quite

Even though Benn was a dirty in that fight, i heard he was just a dirty fighter. But i wouldn't blame him for what happened, I don't think any fighter would want to hurt that other like that. But you do have to be mentally tough to over come somthing as traggic as that.

Boxing has cause death traggedes, sucks to hear about a fallen warrior.

When i was boxing from time to time i thought about ring injury but didn't let it effect me in the ring. When i got the call to turn pro, that **** was scary i'll admit that. ****** **** ran threw my mind, death being one. But, once you put your state of mind on your goal, you'll be alright.

yeah, but life goes one. not to mention Chavez vs Leavdaren he was never the same fighter. or the Korean guy who got killed by Mancinnie I think the ref and the mother of that guy comminted suicide i dont know what is in Manci mind after that happen.

One thing I started training boxing is forgotten which is self defense and making me stronger. Nobody want to be helpless but I would do it for living I feel there are thing worth more to die than in the boxing ring and thing are worth more to fight for too thant as enteritainment or sport.

I also remember readying as crazy as it sound. That Levanders dad knew there was somthing wrong with Levander but they wanted to take the chance since Chavez isn't known as a puncher. He's not, but he's consitantly throwing punchs. Mancini knows its not his fault. And i would think the dead fighter r.i.p, hold nothing against there counter part, at least thats what i think.

Even Ray Robinson killed somone. He had a dream about it too.

Nobody boxes to die. Boxing is a safe sport, people have died in football too.

              Man this fight looks close.

Ouma actually has some boxing skills and it looks like he decided not to use them. He used them in his earlier days at times.

****. I hope Ouma can restore his old form.

And for the poster who said Ouma needs to go back down to 154...this fight WAS at 154.

i feel you, even in his losing effort agaisnt karmazin, i though the first 2 rounds aside, ouma did good and showed tremendous abilty to get inside....the problem was that karmazin was walking through the pain of the right hands to the body ouma was landing and giving more flashy shots that won himthe rounds......i wouldve had that fight a draw if it wasnt for the knockdowns....

ouma fought this fight at lt middleweight. and he had problems making weight.
he didnt look right here.making weight may have drained him.

cant get over how waisted ouma looked.
this was a bigger fight than you think for him. he has just got with goldenboy productions and they had plans for him to go down to welter in '08.
                      he blew it.
