Im a Cotto fan, but i have to admit that he needs to improve his defense. He has the power, stamina, heart, etc.....But his defense has some holes in it.

I would have preferred that when Floyd was looking for a light welterweight belt, he would have fought Miguel Cotto at the beginning of 2005 instead of fighting Henry Bruseles (??????) for one.

I would have preferred that he fight Kostya Tszyu instead of 5 straight bums after Castillo II.

I can understand that. But blame Arum. Miguel's work at 140 left A LOT of questions (remember?), and Arum said that he "wouldn't put Cotto near any ring that FMJ was in".

It would be a lose-lose proposition for Bob to match up his top two fighters.

Yeah, and we would have preferred if Kostya Tszyu fought ANYBODY. Or even tried to rematch Phillips. But those things happen.

You mean Mr "I like to attack my opponents in press conferences, hit them when they're down and use illegal moves on them" Barrera fighting like a man?

Kostya Tszyu trying to rematch Phillips is like Wlad Klitschko trying to rematch Corrie Sanders, the very idea is rediculous.
