Fighters that still need to prove something.

    November 02, 2007

Do you really think that pacquiao should be considered a really great fighter like his fans describe him to be?Pacquiao beat legendary fighters,Yeah thats true but they were ''OLD'' legendary fighters.Erik Morales had faught many wars already with guys like Zaragoza,Espadas,Barrera,Hernandez, and Chavez.Barrera had faught Morales,McKinney,Junior Jones, and naseem hamed.I mean barrera and Morales were shot fighters. The bull**** has to stop manny is not manny,He's been exposed already by Marquez. He needs to fight either Marquez or with young fighters like Juan Diaz or Soto if he wants to get credit and respect.Alot of boxing fighters today get alot of credit that they dont deserve. For example Joe Calzaghe has defended his title 20 times, wow thats a great accomplishment But against who?Prospects and fighters from the contender show.C'mon a real champ takes risks and fights nothing but the best Im glad he is taking on Kessler and I hope seeing him fight with a top fighter from over here like Pavlik or Hopkins then he will get not only my respect but also everyones respect. Now lets talk about Floyd,I am a Mayweather fan but when I look at his resume I say he hasnt really faught elite fighters,De La Hoya ? We have to agree that he isnt the same de la hoya he used to be,and other fighters like Corrales,Castillo,And Judah were ''one'' night champions they would get a belt and lose it in there first or second defence. Those are not real champs,So im glad Floyd is now fighting real Champs like Hatton and if he wins he should fight Cotto and other elite champions in the welter weight division and if he does he will get lots of credit for taking risks.

I'm not a big Pacquiao fan, but I disagree that the guy still needs to prove something. Maybe he is lacking that one "defining" fight but I think you could say that about a lot of former champions.

He really does still need to prove something,The good fighters he faught were past there prime.A real champ needs to beat a great fighter that is in his prime.

Floyd's career isn't over yet and he is already a Hall of Famer.

Hopefully Naz goes back to jail and continues to get his rectum massaged.

                  1) I couldn't agree with you more about Calzaghe.

                  2) I respect your views on FMJ, and I ask who ( which "elites") you would have liked him to fight.

i agree that PACMAN still has some unfinished business in the superfeather division..

soto, marquez who by the way is ageing VERY FAST, and guzman.. he beats all those fighters he gets my respect..

if he goes to lightweight he will most certainly lose..
