As for the subtext well Hatton did make mistakes against Floyd, he did abandon the gameplan, and Floyd punished him for it. Floyd on the other hand didn't abondon his gameplan, he adapted where it was needed and he finished the job. That's what you would expect from the best fighter in the world.

I'm not sure what your point is. You wouldn't accept any other statement than "Hatton is garbage". Even "Floyd Mayweather was better" isn't good enough for you because you won't accept that Hatton lost the fight for any other reason than your opinion that Hatton is not a good fighter.
