Miranda grew up as a kid in the streets of Colombia. He is a natural born brawler. As I said before, he is a raw diamond. A change of trainer and managing team could easily turn him on a WORLD-CLASS BOXER...
Minus the thunder?
Just because he didnt KO him in the first round like Willie Gibbs doesnt take away the thunder!
It took Kessler 9 rounds to stop Porras and Froch it took 8 rounds.
To me it seemed that Pantera was using his 'skills' (yes I said the word) he had been working on in the gym. He looked rather controlled, worked behind a nice long jab, and set his shots. Even when he had Porras cornered he didnt go wild, he looked for his shots and didnt just jump on him.
I say it was a great first performance against a tough chinned opponent. GO MIRANDA!
I never said it wasn't an impressive performance, I just was saying that at 160, he was KO'ing guys with the bombs he was landing on Porras.
