Vargas has looked like complete garbage ever since he has been off the steriods. It is obvious. You can tell by looking at his body since then, and you can tell by his in-ring performances. With the weight advantage though, we will see. This is guaranteed to be an exciting fight. Neither of these guys are top 5 fighters anymore, probably not top ten, but it IS gonna be explosive.

I don't like Mayorga. But I have to admit that his over the top trashtalking ways have really worked for him. He has been able to land fights with Trinidad, De La Hoya, and now Vargas, and he didn't even have to win his way into any of those fights. It is tough to criticize what someone is doing when it is working that well for them.
