true but he was very inexperienced against castillo. i would like to see him fight enzo i think that would gauge how good he is.

this is pretty much nuts man, i mean its one thing if you really observed and know him to say that but i dont think thats the case.

i have emailed banks a couple times and he has always taken the time to send a polite reply at some point. he is, from what ive observed, a very humble young man.

you should reconcile the fact that he is in fact the best american cruiserweight, and he would be happy to fight enzo anytime anywhere. despite the fact that he is rated top-10 by the WBO and holds a minor title, macca just cant find his phone number.

people who say hes tarnished by being caught cold by castillo should consider castillo has 15 KOs in 20 Wins and was coming down from heavyweight and was the physically bigger man in the ring. castillo beat michael moorer at heavyweight, yeah he was fat, but castillo won every damn round basically.

banks beats matt godfrey or bj flores or whoever else is a top-american cruiserweight.

banks vs maccarinelli is the kind of fight that boxing needs to consistently make to garner some real fans.

im hoping i get a chance talk to him after his fight of the 15th, im gonna ask him specifically if he wants enzo next, and whether he has ever been made a bull**** offer by frank warren to fight for a hill of beans and two left shoes

the slicin left hand thats half/hook half/jab at :24 seconds really cleans castillo up

that shot reminds me of something lennox lewis would throw. he kinda gets the guy think the shot is gonna come wide and then just shoves it up the middle with the force of his whole body behind it.

I never said anything suggesting he's not polite or humble. I'm sure he's both (though I've never really developed any personal opinion on him in the few times I've met him). I'm saying in terms of boxing hunger, he and Andy Lee are two different fighters.

When I think of Lee, I see a potential future middleweight champ.
When I think of Banks, I see a fighter trained by Emanuel Steward.
