I havent heard much talk about banks on here but i think he is probably america's best up and comming Cruiser/Heavyweight. he had that big win over Castillo last year where i was very impressed with the way he adjusted to castillo's style after the KD, he has been fighting Journeyman ever since. in december he is fighting Derrick Brown another journeyman. he has talked about fighting enzo recently and has been doing very well in sparing against Wlad. what do you think of banks.

if he's regarded as America's best cruiserweight prospect-turned-contender, then America might want to consider abandoning the cruiserweight division altogether.I havent heard much talk about banks on here but i think he is probably america's best up and comming Cruiser/Heavyweight. he had that big win over Castillo last year where i was very impressed with the way he adjusted to castillo's style after the KD, he has been fighting Journeyman ever since. in december he is fighting Derrick Brown another journeyman. he has talked about fighting enzo recently and has been doing very well in sparing against Wlad. what do you think of banks.
I've never been impressed with him. He's good, but will never be great. He might've had a chance in the 90's, when guys like Al Cole were among the top players. But the cruiserweight division is arguably better than its ever been. Perhaps he'll one day claim a vacant alphabet title, but I don't expect much more out of him than that.
The comparison I always make between Banks and Andy Lee, since they're stablemates:
Lee fights and carries himself like a guy hungry to break free from poverty and make a name for himself.
Banks fights and carries himself like a guy who has corporate money pillowing under his ass and is content to carry the label 'Emanuel Steward's fighter.'Comment
