This sounds like an obvious excuse. If date is not suitable, but you want the fight to happen, you should propose your own date to Klitchko camp. Besides, almost 5 month is more than enough to rest and prepare. Ibragimov didn't have any injuries and had an easy fight with Holyfield.
It's easy to understand Ibragimov promoters as a company - they don't want to lose their asset (Ibragimov) since Wladimir is recognized favorite. On the other hand, they will not earn that kind of money in any other fight.

I don't think this fight's going to happen. First they reported that they could not agree on how to split the purse, now this ****. Saying that the time frame is not good after Wlad's people secured the date with HBO is like saying that they don't want this fight altogether.
